Right on the River, Way better than being in town!

Really terrific! We had it all to ourselves! Clean bungalows, separate, quiet, on the river, lovely landscaping, restaurant steps away, nice and very helpful proud staff. River tour launches from the beautiful river. All kinds of wildlife right there! Can’t recommend it enough!
The Sugar Cane barges do shake the room as they pass down the river, be warned, as it’s quite an event.
Belizians don’t offer too much, you have to ASK and then they gladly provide. So don’t be shy. Whether it’s a room with a view, a ride, a breakfast packed the night before, an SUV rather than a car, a coconut macheted with a straw to drink out of… your wish is gladly fulfilled. Nice people, just not pushy or sales-oriented.
